The trustees were delighted to be able to support this project by ‘Community Stuff’ assisting vulnerable local residents during the Covid-19 outbreak.
Clare Hackney-Ring – Director of Community Stuff CIC told us
“Community Stuff would like to thank the John Jackson Charitable Trust for the funding allotted to our Soup and Support project. We were able to deliver homemade soup and a roll plus extra support to 55 vulnerable Eastbourne residents 3 days a week this year. They all received an activity pack every Wednesday .
We also supported 15 of these vulnerable residents to get both vaccinations , as part of our support, taking them there and back again as well as being with them for the vaccinations, so it has truly made a great difference to them all in so many ways.”
