Applications

The Trustees welcome applications for funding projects or needs which benefit the community of Eastbourne from local charities, clubs, and community groups, particularly in the fields of education, heritage, social welfare, disability, animal welfare, community sports, and community arts. Examples of grants the John Jackson Charitable Trust has made include grants to several local state schools for facility improvements, to a charity specialising in helping unemployed people back to work, to charities benefitting people in the town with disabilities, local community sports projects, animal welfare, and a heritage project. Grants range from funding large capital projects down to small ones such as providing a Television for a local Old Peoples Home. The Trustees will consider all worthy requests benefitting the community of Eastbourne.
