The trustees were delighted to support Raystede with a grant towards the creation of an “avian flu-proof” enclosure to keep their geese safe this winter.
Raystede said “You can see from the attached video that the flock are now safely resident in their new home and are not only benefitting from year-round protection from avian flu but also enjoying the large pond which initially they were a bit wary of! We’re satisfied and pleased that their welfare needs are being fully met and can only thank the John Jackson Charitable Trust again for assisting us to make the new enclosure a reality.”
